On invitation of Taiwan’s China Medical University Hospital and Chang Geng Hospital, Prof Ke travelled to Taiwan to lecture at the China Medical University Hospital on the 7th April.
The talk “TCM Reasoning and Critique” discussed three aspects of Traditional Chinese Medicine: TCM meets Science, TCM meets Philosophy and TCM meets Western medicine.
Prof Ke also visited Dr Hongqiang Zheng and saw his demonstration of cosmetic acupuncture and the new trend of thread-planting cosmetic acupuncture.
Prof Ke would like to introduce this technique to the UK to provide treatments and training in this area, in order to meet the growing demand of facial rejuvenation acupuncture.
