The Acupuncture Association of Chartered Physiotherapists, the AACP, has it’s 30th Anniversary this year. Their AACP Annual Conference was held on the 17th and 18th of May 2014 at the Hilton in Coventry and Prof Ke was invited to talk at this prestigious event. He presented his work in the UK for the last 28 years and talked about “Acupuncture and its Reasoning” and the philosophy and science behind acupuncture.
He was very well received by the members and following is the feedback from Vivienne Dascanio, AACP Chairman:
“On behalf of AACP I would like to thank you very much indeed for coming to our conference and presenting your work on Acupuncture and its Reasoning. We really appreciated the contribution that you made and we hope that you enjoyed the AACP conference.
We are extremely excited to see you again at our Scottish Conference and I look forward to seeing you again then.
We will be writing up a short report of your talk in the AACP Journal that will be sent to all of our 6,000 members so that those who weren’t at the Conference will have the opportunity to read about your work.”
Prof Ke was afterwards interviewed by Rosemary Lillie, News Editor of AACP, for the Journal of the Acupuncture Association of Chartered Physiotherapists (JAACP), which is a biannual peer-reviewed clinical journal aimed at Western-trained physiotherapists and health professionals who practise acupuncture.
