On the 15^th April 2014, Professor Ke gave a talk on Medical Ethics in Changzhou’s 1^st People’s Hospital, to over 230 municipal administrative officials, hospital Chiefs and doctors from Changzhou Health System.

The talk introduced the fundamental principles of general and medical ethics and academic debates, the reason to study ethics and the history behind. He compared Eastern and Western cultural, philosophical and historical ethical views, enabling medical staff to have a deeper understanding on how to improve service levels in the health care system, the doctor-patient relationship and the interaction with health care professionals and the communities.

Professor Ke also discussed his own views on the subjects of medical ethics and politics, law and religion.
